RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

The Forge is a high-performance ritual. We aren't here to "hang out"; we are here to undergo a biological reset. To ensure the safety of the vessel and the intensity of the experience, every participant must adhere to the following six rules.

1. HYDRATION IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

The Forge runs at 195F. You will lose a significant amount of fluid in a single session.

The Order: Drink at least 16oz of water before you arrive.

The Gear: Bring a reusable water bottle. No glass is permitted near the sauna for safety reasons. If you show up dehydrated, you are a liability to the community.

2. THE KIT (NO TOWEL, NO ENTRY)

We respect the Red Cedar, and we respect the hygiene of the collective.

Two Towels: You are required to bring two clean towels. One is for the bench (you sit on it to protect the wood and yourself) and one is for drying off after the cold plunge.

Footwear: Clean sandals or slides are mandatory for the transition between the heat and the outdoor elements.

Attire: Swimwear you can breathe in. Leave the jewelry and watches in your car - at 195F, metal burns.

3. RESPECT THE STONE (THE LOYLY)

In the Forge, the steam is sacred. It is how we weaponize the heat.

The Control: The "Forge Master" or an experienced hand manages the water bucket. We don't "splash" the rocks; we bless them.

The Door: Every second the door is open, the spirit of the heat escapes. Get in or get out. Move fast.

4. EMBRACE THE THERMAL SHOCK

The heat is only 50% of the medicine. The magic happens in the contrast.

The Cycle: You must finish your heat cycle with a cold exposure - whether it's a cold tub, a snowbank, or the raw St. John's wind. This triggers the surge of norepinephrine and "tempers" the nervous system.

The Commitment: Don't skip the cold. It's the most important part of the Forge High.

5. SOCIAL FRICTION & DIGITAL DETOX

We are a community hub, not a private isolation chamber.

No Phones: The Forge is a black-out zone for electronics. Leave the ego and the Instagram feed in your locker.

The Vibe: Talk to your neighbors. Share the steam. In the heat, everyone is equal. If you want a silent experience, book a Private Power Hour.

6. KNOW YOUR LIMIT (THE WALL)

195F is a physical challenge, not a competition.

Listen to your Blood: If you feel lightheaded, dizzy, or "thumping" in your ears, you have hit your wall. Exit the sauna immediately, stay low to the ground where the air is cooler, and alert the Forge Master.

The Goal: We want you tempered, not melted.
